LOVE = An intense feeling of deep affection. A great interest and pleasure in something. Unselfish concern for others.
AGAPE = Perfect love only God can give. Divine love in all its varied expressions, limitless
Aham prema is a mantra that is typically translated as “I am divine love.” It comes from the Sanskrit, aham, meaning “I,” and prema, meaning “love” or “affection.”
Perfect love casts out all fear. 1 John 4:18
“Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.” 1 Corinthians 13:7, New Living Translation
“So this is my command: Love each other deeply, as much as I have loved you. For the greatest love of all is a love that sacrifices all. And this great love is demonstrated when a person sacrifices his life for his friends.” John 15:12-13, The Passion Translation
“For this is how much God loved the world—he gave his one and only, unique Son as a gift. So now everyone who believes in him will never perish but experience everlasting life.” John 3:16, The Passion Translation
I am loved unconditionally.
I am safe to love and be loved.
I allow myself to feel deep affection.
I demonstrate unselfish concern for others.
God’s perfect love casts out all fear.
OPENING MEDITATION Think of a time you experienced complete LOVE. It may be a recent happening, or from the past. Picture it clearly in your heart and mind. Feel all the emotions. What sensations do you feel in the body? Where do you feel these sensations? Label your emotions with one word. Label the sensations felt with one word. Tuck these words deep into your memory account of LOVE. CLOSING MEDITATION “Wait quietly in my presence while My thoughts form silently in the depths of your being. Do not rush this process, because hurry keeps your heart earthbound. I am the Creator of the entire universe, yet I choose to make my humble home in your heart. It is there where you know me most intimately; it is there where I speak to you in holy whispers. Ask My Spirit to quiet your mind so that you can hear my still small voice within you. I am speaking to you continually. . . words of LOVE. Tune your heart to receive these messages of abundant blessing.
