10% of life is what happens to you, and 90% is how you react or respond to it!~ Charles R. Swindoll

RESILIENCE is the deep seeded quality that allows some people to be knocked down by life and come back stronger than ever. Rather than letting failure overcome them and drain their resolve, they find a way to rise from the ashes. Psychologists have identified some of the factors that make someone resilient, among them a positive attitude, optimism, the ability to regulate emotions, and the ability to see failure as a form of helpful feedback. Even after a misfortune, blessed with such an outlook, resilient people are able to change course and soldier on.

“Resilience may be an art, the ultimate art of living. At the heart of resilience is a belief in oneself — yet also a belief in something larger than oneself. Resilient people do not…

Aiming For Amalfi 🇮🇹

New Dates!

May 1, 2021–May 8, 2021

Heather and Hanan have their eyes focused on the Amalfi Coast of Italy and want to share an unforgettable week of immersion in the heart of Italian culture at a renovated 16th-Century Franciscan Convent where you can relax in simple yet tranquil rooms that boast views of the sea in Marina della Lobra, just outside Sorrento.

A retreat allows you to travel to exciting destinations where you can disconnect from the routine, explore your comfort zone, create space for healing, connect with like-minded people, and deepen your yoga practice.

You’ll practice a variety of active, restorative and meditative yoga sessions twice daily in the indoor/outdoor yoga shala which sits next to the lemon groves, and indulge in the freshly prepared Italian vegetarian meals that will nourish your body and invigorate your senses.

You’ll have plenty of down time to stroll through the small seaside village strewn with colorful fishing boats and cafes or explore further along the rocks protecting the port, and dive into the Tirrenian sea for a refreshing swim. Continue walking the ancient path and you’ll reach the Sorrento town center, Massa Lubrense and some of its hamlets. You can also book additional tours to Positano or Pompei.$2,100 – Shared Occupancy or  $2,600 – Single Occupancy includes all of the following:

  • 7 day Accommodations with private bath
  • 3 Vegetarian Meals daily (eggs & cheese included & wine at dinner)
  • Roundtrip transfers from the Naples airport or Sorrento train station
  • Group excursion by boat to Capri
  • Group Tour to the Limoncello Farm
  • Group Cooking Class
  • 2 Yoga classes daily

Openness to Life’s Adventures ♡

✨Love ~ Serve ~ Inspire✨

The Invitation by Oriah Mountain Dreamer

It doesn’t interest me what you do for a living.
I want to know what you ache for
and if you dare to dream of meeting your heart’s longing.

It doesn’t interest me how old you are.
I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool
for love
for your dream
for the adventure of being alive.

It doesn’t interest me what planets are squaring your moon…
I want to know if you have touched the centre of your own sorrow
if you have been opened by life’s betrayals
or have become shriveled and closed
from fear of further pain.

I want to know if you can sit with pain
mine or your own
without moving to hide it
or fade it
or fix it.

I want to know if you can be with joy
mine or your own
if you…

25 Drops of Glue for Sticking Together in Marriage

✨Celebrating 26 years today! ❤️ We still do!✨

✨Love ~ Serve ~ Inspire✨

My husband and I are celebrating 25 years of marriage this week! *insert applause, high-fives, fist bumps, whoop-whoops!* How do we continue to live happily ever after? Here’s our list of 25 tips. Whether you are single, dating, contemplating commitment, or married—pick a few drops of glue to bind your relationship together.

1. Communicate. Be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry.
2. Each day ask yourself, “How can I bless my spouse?” Oftentimes, the little things are the best things.
3. Pray for your partner. My favorite prayer is, “God empower me to be the wife Jon needs me to be, and empower Jon to be the husband I need him to be. Work in both of us to bring out the best in each other.” God knows this better than we do!
4. Know your spouse’s love language. This is revolutionary! We highly recommend…
