We will be resting (SELAH) and soaking up the sun at the lovely boutique Aliki Panorama Hotel which is a a small family run hotel with just 13 rooms. It is situated in the quiet fishing village of Aliki and just a 5 minute walk to the beach on the beautiful southern coast of Paros.

10 Day African Yoga Retreat with Hanan & Heather

September 4-13, 2023

1 Room Remains!

Seek and Safari with us in Namibia, Africa!

Namibia, nicknamed the Gem of Africa, got its name from the Namib Desert, the oldest desert in the world. Namibia boasts remarkable natural attractions such as the Namib Desert, Etosha National Park and the Skeleton Coast (where the desert meets the ocean)… and we are going to explore them and more!

The lovingly curated itinerary allows you to see so much of the country and wildlife while being pampered at stunning resorts. The yoga comes in to help you unwind and disconnect without any expectations of where you are in your practice.

The vastness and beauty of the Namibian landscape is a place that is inspirational and that gets into your soul. It brings peace, stillness and healing to your spirit. Its energy and magic are hard to explain and must be experienced.

Come alone and make lifelong friendships or bring a special someone to share this once in a lifetime experience.

7 Night Yoga Retreat with Hanan & Heather

November 9-16, 2024

Explore the Land of Fire and Ice with us!

The picturesque city of Akureyri is lovingly nicknamed the “capital of the North” and is the second largest urban area in Iceland after Reykjavik. Built along the Fjord, Akureyri offers a mild climate and bucolic, picturesque landscape.

Uniquely situated on a mid-oceanic ridge, the geology of Iceland is known as “the Land of Fire and Ice.” It is home to several volcanos and glaciers which have, over time, carved an epic landscape unlike any other in the world.

Breathtaking mountains, dramatic waterfalls, turf homes, rolling farms and hills, natural geothermic springs, local wildlife, and of course the northern lights all await your discovery. You may add on a whale watching excursion as they live year round in Iceland.

Just as unique are the Icelandic people, who proudly share a deep connection to the land, their native language, and traditional folklore. You will get the insider’s view on our tours because they are led by knowledgeable, local guides dedicated to preserving the wonder and integrity of the island.

Across the Fjord you will find a historic landmark marked by a large stone and anchor marking the place where, according to Icelandic folklore, the vikings originally landed in Iceland. On the beautiful property now lies Knarrarberg, a newly built wellness center designed specifically for yoga with a view of the Fjord and mountains. And on a clear dark night you can enjoy the stars and perhaps even glimpse the northern lights!

The center offers a yoga room, massage rooms, and a meditation/relaxation hall. There are male and female showers, changing rooms, a large dry sauna and an outdoor geothermic jacuzzi. The yoga space is fully equipped with yoga mats, blocks, straps and blankets and can be heated easily for warm classes.

The cafe where we’ll have most of our lunches and dinners typically offers two fresh soups, fresh breads, a salad bar and hot entrees at every meal. Locally grown potatoes, fresh-caught white fish and the famous Icelandic lamb rotate on the menu as well.

Icelandic farmers take pride in their connection to the land, and many of the dishes that guests enjoy are made with locally grown, farm-to-table ingredients. Iceland has amazing greenhouses, so you’ll be pleasantly surprised at the variety and quality of the food which includes vegetarian and vegan options. Should you wish to venture out on your own, Akureyri is home to several cafe’s, coffee houses, juice bars, wine bars, and several other more formal restaurants for a special night on the town. Reykjavik, where we often spend the last night of our visit, is a foodie’s paradise with plenty of nightlife.

Thanks to the Gulf Stream, Iceland isn’t as cold as it sounds. Temperatures are moderate year-round and in the winter, temperatures may be just at 32°F
